SnoCoYouthWorks.org is a resource to facilitate connection opportunities that support both employers recruiting talent, and youth searching for work-based career pathway experiences.
The primary emphasis of SnoCoYouthWorks.org is to increase success opportunities for employers and youth through employer-driven internships, employment, career mentorships, and resources.
Employers can benefit from SnoCoYouthWorks.org through targeted recruitments; developing a future workforce through internships; community engagement and development through mentoring a youth on-site; and through connections to resources such as grant funded internships and on-the-job-training, hiring events, the WorkSource Business Solutions team, speaking opportunities at local schools, and more.
Led by Workforce Snohomish, SnoCoYouthWorks.org was created in partnership with the WorkSource Youth Center, Snohomish County STEM Network, Everett Community College, and Cocoon House.
SnoCoYouthWorks.org is funded through Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Governor’s Statewide Activities Funding, and is built through grant funds as a sustainable and scalable, county-wide solution to increase work-based experience and Career Pathway exploration opportunities for Snohomish County youth.
SnoCoYouthWorks.org was built to be scalable; donate today to help us grow and reach our stretch goal of providing every youth in Snohomish County a work-based career pathway experience.
